Colorectal Cancer
Colorectal Cancer is the second leading cause of cancer related-death in men and women in U.S. The American College of Physicians (ACP) and the American Cancer Society (ASC), recommends adults aged 45 and older, with an average risk of colorectal cancer, to undergo regular screenings.
Metabolic Syndrome
Metabolic Syndrome might sound like a single condition, but it actually describes a cluster of risk factors for heart disease; someone with this condition is twice as likely to develop heart disease and 5 times as likely to develop diabetes (ACC).
Pneumococcal Pneumonia
Hospitalization and death rate has been on the rise, especially on unvaccinated adults over 65 and the younger population with chronic medical conditions. Therefore, the advisory College of Chest Physicians (ACCP) recommends immunization as soon as possible.
